The PoE Max LED indicates the status of the PoE budget on the switch: The switch can supply up to 30W PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) to each port, with a maximum PoE power budget of 180W across all active PoE+ ports. Model MS510TXPP can provide PoE+ power on ports 1–8. Power on the switch and wait two minutes. If you use an SFP+ port, you must insert an SFP+ transceiver module, which is available from NETGEAR. Suggestions on other programs to use to configure the switch would be helpful. All ports have flashing green link lights I can get internet by disabling wifi, and connecting solely to the switch, which is plugged into the router I tried connecting them to other ports and still no dice. Is there any other way to configure the switch or discover it on the applications I provided? I'm guessing I could use powershell, but my knowledge on this is not adept. Port 2 runs from my switch to the router. Port one runs from the switch to my laptop. Physical toplogy of the switch includes the use of port 1 and 2 on the switch. When I try to configure the switch through this application, it does not save any of the changes, and I cannot enable DHCP Settings. I was however able to find the switch within the "Smart Wizard Discovery" application, located on the netgear website (the link i provided).
